New to Apple devices in the last month. I've only ever worked in traditional media. Bought tons of different apps and have settled on ArtStudio Pro as my go-to. Procreate is too lightweight and feels more for lightweight digital appearing artwork. It seems farther from traditional media than ASP. I will be doing some published work from the iPad, but will only be using ASP. There are a couple other programs which I like, as well, but Procreate is lower on the list.

AI is only good news? It's some good news and mostly bad news. It'll become easier to frame innocent people. Blackmail will also become easier. And people will become lazier and more dependent on people in power. Why learn how to cook, drive, etc. AI and people in power will do it for you. Without need to develop skills, humans could as well not exist. But there's no point in complaining. Most of population is being manipulated so easily. I just wait for end now

I still hope they implement a deformer that helps "possing" kind off like a single bone that can be easily placed anyware and auto propagates a mask to anything connected below the pivot and only deforms anything connected after.

I'm late to the party, but can confirm. I'm close to 50 yo and started on screenless Wacom tablets. When pen displays got cheaper in the past few years I got one. Ouch. I have two desks that both move up and down for standing. That way I can dial in the correct positions and move between both desks if needed. I've found that you really have to change from one ergo position to another (sitting with back 90 degress, sitting with slightlty reclined, standing) every 20-30 minutes. There is no single position you can be in hour after hour. The key is switching from one ergo position to another, otherwise your lower back disks will compress and your hips being closed all the time. All in all, you want both screenless and screened to cover all types of drawing styles and sitting/standing positions.

i disagree with your advice that drawing display is bad but i respect your opinion i want to give me honest opiniion about that i want a hand drawing table desk dafting because i'm i think drawing on a regular table or bed just feels uncomfortable to me i think when i do get my drawing table i will feel comfortable to want to get back into drawing again it will be easy for me to draw or paint too

who agrees to train an aspiring artist? If you got into art because you loved comics and wanted to make your own comic books, and therefore looked to your favorite comics for inspiration and references, do you suddenly need to pay the original artist? do you need to get their permission for this? And im not talking about plagiarism which is a term which people throw around willy nilly when talking about AI, but im talking about creating an original creation but using those previous artists works as inspiration or refrence, as this is exactly how AI Works. It does not "copy paste" it doesnt steal someones art intentionally, it takes inputs and is taught what those imputs are and then produces an output. This is exactly how art school works, you go to a school, look at art like what you want to make, learn from it, and then use what you have learned to create something new. And sure some people might use that knowledge nefariously and copy and plagiarize other artists, but the majority of people are not doing that, they just want to make something unique by using information gained from studying other peoples work or nature. AI is exactly the same, we put in study material in the form of in the case of this analogy artworks, tell the AI through complicated coding what these artworks are and what elements make them up, and then through this the AI learns what those things are, then when you ask it to make them, it goes back through its memory of lessons learned and just like an artist goes "So that would probably consist of these elements, these colors ect" and goes through stages of creating the image. Conceptually there is no difference between the AI making art, and a traditional human artist making art, and practically there is no difference, because at the end of the day the "AI" is not sentient or even that intelligent, its probably less intelligent than an ant, Its just a tool that is used by another human to create art. And this is why you see so many AI artists using the analogy that AI art is like photography, people are upset and scared because a new tool has come around which threatens their livelyhood, but just like photography in history, I dont see AI replacing actual artists anytime soon.

besides the duck feet and sensors, that suit gets warm quick. imagine swapping between different talent on a hot day. lol. xsens software price is ridiculous but we can wear cool clothing in the summer time shoots. we'll see soon. still researching. thank you for the upload. keep creating and inspiring!

Glad to see someone using thes same pipeline as me! I feel like I've been struggling to get Rokoko and ARP to play nice for a while. One issue I have that I haven't been able to find a fix for is almost every time I retarget an animation I get weird rotations on the feet and toes, like they are standing on their tippy toes and I always have to reset them to be flat on the ground

31:45 I like how, due to the shape and repetition, each set of "eyes" looks like it's displaying a different mood or "facial" expression. There might be a way to incorporate that into the "infinity" theme of your game/art if it makes sense to do so (especially since a human mind trying to REALLY comprehend infinity probably goes through SEVERAL emotions quickly haha).

In a horror game or movie I feel like the best “monster” to add is literally nothing. Well not completely nothing but for the most part horror movies should really emphasise on making the viewer anxious paranoid and overall terrified. Paranoia is the key to building up that one jump scare and if you nail it it is perfect. Think about it when you see a dark room in an abandoned establishment what do you think about. There could be nothing and it is just a dark room or sth is inside this dark room and it is waiting for you the feeling of being watched while you can’t see it is enough to make the viewer go through this way of thinking. The same with games a prime example of good use of paranoia and the feeling of being alone and watched is perfectly executed in the game iron lung. So in the end humanoid creatures are very creepy and unsettling because they seem out of this world and unnatural but on the other hand it is better to just not use a monster in a scene but instead nothing just the ominous sounds from the unknown and the fear of a possible attack at any given moment is what a horror movie needs to catch a persons attention

Can I ask what is your canvas size? I also use infinite painter but it starts lagging after a while and I don't have that many layers, this is my first drawing tablet and I use 2010x2550 px (6.70x8.50 in) at 300 dpi, and supposedly it can manage 240 layers at that resolution, but in less than 20 it starts lagging

My main question is how does it cope with high density objects (polycount) - which of course is depending on hardware but, I mean in relation to other sculpting software out there?
